Well strictly speaking I’m back in the money – my money that is.

I’ve had a note from the bank and they tell me that although the investigations are on-going the active part is now finished. To that end my account has been refunded to the tune of £700 (ish). For the past month the only worry I’ve had is in how much money I’ve got.

Usually I have a fairly good grasp of what is in the account and can determine if we’re able to eat out tonight, or buy new shoes for the children, etc. However, during this fraud I’ve had no idea and looking at statements and transactions has not made it any clearer. Especially whenthe account reads:

Current balance: -£231.xx
Available balance: £650.xx
Overdraft facility: £1300

So now I know how muchmoney we have it’s a matter of what can we do with the extra?
